As Head of Music of Opera Theater of Saint Louis, Darwin was part of the conducting team for the Center Stage Concert at the end of the 2026 Festival Season, on June 24th. The Center Stage Concert is an annual, two-and-a-half-hour showcase celebrating the rising stars of the company’s Gerdine Young Artist and Richard Gaddes Festival Artist Programs accompanied by the Grammy Award-winning St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.

Darwin conducted selections of Rossini’s Barber of Seville, sharing the operatic and musical theater program with Daniela Candillari (Principal Conductor OTSL) and Steven Aguilo-Arbues (OTSL Assistant Conductor).
